Super Yacht Owners, Guests and Crew enjoy precision control and ample supply of hot water

Starting in November 2009 Emech received an inquiry from the engineering staff onboard the MY Kogo, one of the WorldsTop 100 super yachts. (www.hoayachting.com).

The 71 meter vessels hot water reticulation system was struggling to provide consistent tempered water to the guests and crew in periods of variable demand.

The originally specified Honeywell V5832 series mixing valves and actuators were considered to be quite slow in controlling disturbances and addressing variable input conditions and a discussion began about how the Emech technology could address their temperature control variances.

The engineering staff on-board the vessel, in combination with marine consultant and service provider Svitzer (www.svitzer.com) and Swystem Logic, Emechs European based representative (www.swystemlogic.com) worked diligently to develop and install a system solution to address the concerns being experienced on board the vessel, and now guests and crew are provided with in-specification hot water on a consistent and reliable basis.
