Poultry Wing Washer Design Saves Energy and Recycles Water

Berry Equipment and Plumbing have designed a new system incorporating the Emech 2” F5 steam/water mixer. Working with Condit and Emech Control Ltd, a system was created that allows for extra water washing intervention stage that targets the specific wing area in Poultry Processing.



With the efficiency arising from utilising a water re-cycling process, the system has proven to reduce the re-work / scrap rates around non compliant product in the wing area. The outcome of this extra step allows for increased yields with minimal increase in plant water and energy usage.
