Pasteurisation Circuit future-proofing covered by Emech Control
6th July 2010

In 2006, Zesto Juices in the Philippines engaged with our local Philippine representative Mr Nito Siasat and Emech Control to support the design and development of their new pasteurisation process.
Mr Armando Yao from Zesto Juices became very interested in the Emech Technology which would allow him a very simple and cost effective circuit development. Adopting Emech technology allowed him to have a fully electronic process, avoiding the extra capital expense and ongoing maintenance costs associated with traditional pneumatic actuators, P/I converters and digital positioners and older mechanical valves.
Opting for the fully electronic Emech actuator and sensor, coupled with the ceramic disc based F2 control technology, Zesto Juices have benefited from the performance and accuracy of the Emech system with minimal maintenance. Plus the whole pasteurisation circuits primary heating source is from a single Emech actuator controlling an F5 steam/water mixer.
The adoption of the Emech system has also allowed for easy implementation of plant expansion in 2010 as demand has increased for their very successful new juice products.
